Just got back from climbing this pyramid. It was super steep and the steps were really narrow. We got rain & HAIL while we were at its highest point. Had the climb down while it was raining cats & dogs.

That's super cool! Not the hail and rain part though.....
Agreed. Hopefully things can pick up more tomorrow! I spent my time at work looking at camping trailers for shits and giggles.

Good evening Folks,? that's a nice 4Runner, back when I purchased my 09 Taco I could never understand why they slapped a V8 in the 4r's but not the Tacos! :notsure: I was hoping it would have been a option.
    Nice wedding and anniversary pictures!

We're trying to do as much as we can before I start vacation.

Also ordered all the supplies to restore my frame. I'll start it on the second week of August. So pumped! :benchpress:

That's a dangerous endeavour! I was looking a few years ago and just finished paying on the trailer I was looking at!

Yeah but now you have a cool trailer! Don't worry, nothing like that is happening for a very long time. Gotta camp in the shell first!

Basically following this thread here.. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/frame-restoration-did-it-myself.368199/ I just don't have a needler scaler so I have to use a steel brush attachment to knock off the rust and paint. I think that's going to be the hardest thing. Also, I ordered all the recommended PPE so I don't end up looking like the elephant man :bananadead:

    1. get all rust and remaining paint off with said steel bursh
    2. say bye felicia to rust by applying phosphoric acid
    3. don't get acid on face
    4. apply POR-15 (2 coats)
    5. take pics and fap fap fap

    :fingerscrossed:

I would like to hand the truck over to my son when he gets of age. Nothing serious happened, other than NY state weather.

I've seen that thread! Looks like a lot of work, but is more than worth it. Good luck in your endevors. If you have a helping hand, pulling the bed is super easy and would make the back half a lot easier.

So our dog tony, has trouble climbing the stairs to the bedroom when it's dark in the house because they're hard wood. His solution is to just stand at the bottom at 4am and whine like a bitch until we turn the light on to let him up. Bought a $15 string of dimmable leds on Amazon, and just put them up. Pretty shnazzy!
