What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Getting the switch there wasn't hard because the PO must have had a mod there previously that they removed prior to trading it in. I did read that people thought getting that blank out was a pain. Part of the reason I went with this switch and lighting set up was because that hole must be filled.

I put wires between that spot and the fuse taps I used and did not think it was too much of a problem to run them. If there are already wires in that area I would double check because the spots on both ends are used with the factory seat heating and there is always the chance that they did the prewiring for them as part of the assembly.

 

Yea there's a ton of stuff to tap into. I'll just test the one unplugged right behind the blank.

Can't stop looking at that banner too. I'm really digging it also. I had one on my first car (I won't tell you how long ago that was). It was the all the rage. Now I want one for the taco.

Had the tires balanced and rotated, which took care of a mild but annoying vibration at 50+.
Then did my first oil change at 25K. (Dealer was doing them for free the first 20K. Which TBH was more of a nuisance than it was worth.) Super easy, fun to finally get my hands dirty for the first time with this truck.
Also cabin air filter and a bath.

 

Added a light bar and PIAA lights to my '13 regular cab.

 

Mostly hot, sometimes warm. I've replaced the starter and battery so far, it's better but doesn't seem 100%.

 

Buy it and I'll buy the white surround from you, if all the screw holes are in tac to mount my pro grill in it.

 

Back in the day they were static cling and went on the inside. God I'm getting old.

 

I really loved my Homer grille. But I also really like the pro so I ended up selling mine to another to enjoy. 300 is a smoking price.

I hauled and installed 500 lbs of concrete figures of Chinese foo dogs for the entry to the house.

 

Got My retrofits done and finally tracked down a scooped hood

Yeah... I noticed that (about the price) and been thinking the same thing. This has all the makings to end badly for me.
