No. Ran better on the TRD flash to be completely honest. But I'm only a few days in and supposedly the self tuning feature of the UCON makes it run better as it learns.

I have some sputtering at 3000-3300 RPM that only occurs at certain throttle positions (usually around 70-80% throttle). I'm told the self tuning feature of the UCON will work this out. None of that stuff happened with the TRD flash.

It is too rich, IMO. UCON richens the AFR to 12-13 at part throttle light accelerating even when there is no boost present. Also at WOT it burys the needle at 10 AFR. I was told that UCON is set to target low AFR to protect the cats. TRD flash it was around 12 AFR at WOT.

I ordered URD Spec U headers, URD y-pipe and URD exhaust today. This may make it run better or it may complicate things further. I guess we'll find out! :D

Every truck is different so don't let my hiccups discourage you. I know at least one other guy that has no issues besides p219a/b.

Those will definitely help. They used to have a different tune for no cats. Are you getting a different tune for yours?

Yes, I'm hoping adding a better breathing apparatus will wake him up a little!

Once I get everything installed, I'll have to get Scott to do a remote session to load a different tune. The other tune also has the work around to prevent P0420/P0430 catalyst efficiency below threshold.

I have the 7th injector and 2.55 pulley in my cart. I'm considering just doing it all at the same time.

Anyone getting the p0136/p0138 codes while running the UCONN. Still in contact with Gadget and Scott. They must be busy this summer. A few short responses. No fix so far. Anyone had to extend the o2 sensor wires?

My truck hasn't set those. Those are for the rear o2 sensors. Did you have extend the wires for them for some reason?

Sent the UCONN in for a separate issue and got these codes after a few months of self troubleshooting. Emails suggested to swap the harness. I used 6" extensions instead of cutting the 2 brand new sensors. Not too happy with having to do that since it still throws the codes. Waiting on an answer from them. Just thought I'd throw it out there. Fix is still pending.

Login, if you are going that far and contemplating....might as well do it all at once. Will simplify tuning.

yea, I really want the UCON and add the cams...but I'm really debating the TRD Flash alone (I would not get it if I decide to go UCON). I just cant risk the truck acting up a great deal and having to schedule VTC style sync sessions when I cant really NOT go to work and stuff M-F haha. I'm just a little concerned.

. . .but that's only if I decide to do the UCON....

If no ucon, the TRD Flash seems to work well (or at least that's my understanding). I really want to get the UCON, but not sure if I have the time or more importantly, knowledge, of fixing things like AFRs and Lean/Rich codes, etc.

You have an '11. The coding is A LOT more solid for you. The '12+ is where things change, and have more glitches.

'05-'11 are all the same, with the exception of different plugs at '09-'11.

Even my truck runs fine for day to day driving, it's just got some bugs that need working out. I'm still driving it w/ no major problems!

    This.

    And this.

I've now spent more on supporting mods than I did on the supercharger. Lol

I will be following this. I also have them in my cart but not gonna pull the trigger for a bit since the supercharger is just now getting installed.

I think so. Later on, I may do some tweaks to the transmission like @Roostfactor but beyond that I can't think of anything else (performance-wise). I'm sure @Torspd has some ideas, but I'm not on that level ;)

I'm hoping the URD header/y/exhaust combo doesn't end up being too loud for my liking. I'll try it as is first and see, but I may have to add some resonators to the y-pipe to quiet it down a notch.

Are you worried about your trans holding the power at all? I cant remember if you are auto or manual but if auto are you going to do the valvebody upgrade?
