Not that simple.

So here's the deal. I Have dynabeads. Have for about a year/10k miles. On the old wheels they did great. Smooth from 0-80 with the exception of a vibration at 65mph. Faster or slower than 65 and it disappeared.

Had the wheels swapped out last week. They spilled some beads from one tire. We made an educated guess and added more beads. Now I have a vibration from 65mph and up. Added more beads today. I know there is now the recommended 8oz of beads in the tire. Still have the 65+ vibration.

Is it possible the wheels themselves are out of balance? Pretty confused.

Meant to quote whoever said to check for mud caked in wheels. Ha.

 

Remove your tires. That should narrow it down

 

Paint away. Your radiator will work worse because the raw aluminum helps cool the coolant but it won't cease from getting air flow. If people are willing to powder coat their intercoolers that need to retain as much cooling properties as possible then I'd say a painted radiator is just fine.

Thanks. I guess more specifically, it's the ac condenser I'm looking to paint.

 

Same deal but with absolutely zero negatives to the engine performance. It will work better being raw aluminum but mine works just fine painted black.

 

Carter, take front driveshaft out and drive. Replace, take rear driveshaft out and drive in 4hi. Replace rear driveshaft and drive like normal. If you have vibrations all three ways, driveline is unlikely. Swap wheels front to back and see if vibrations change.

Oh, never mind. You're clear of mud and debris, not all clear that it doesn't vibrate any more. I'm still asleep
