    Who here waterskis?

My fiance and I both slalom and are pushing ourselves to get to running courses but have a lot of work to do to get there.

I used to slalom competitively 30 years ago :anonymous:

25 years ago I blew out my right eardrum. Then went about 20 years of not waterskiing anymore until my friend busted out an old HO on his wakeboarding boat. So I got back on the ski but took it easy. Obviously the wake was set up for maximum huckage.

In short: I don't have a boat or waterskis but love it.

I haven't slalomed in years. I was just back at my camp in NY, my cousin has a Ski Nautique. Fun times, but 25 years of not skiing has taken its toll.

Do you have a boat? Where do you get out?

Ski Nautique 2001 is what I used to ski behind as well.

My cousin has a 2012, he started out many moons ago with an old Mastercraft. I think he's on his 3rd or 4th Nautique.

Almost picked a boat up this month, but have to delay it until next year. We are currently skiing off of friends boats - a Nautique closed bow up on lake Granby and a Mastercraft 21 here in FoCo.

Seems that up here Boyd and Carter are the popular choices early in the morning on weekends for public launches. Early morning weekdays on Horsetooth don't look terrible either, but you're not going to be skiing glass.

We are also setup for coaching and ski sessions with Soda Lakes, so if anyone is down there we should link up.

What's the water temp on Granby? I'm naive, I didn't know you could pull someone there. I've only been there a couple of times, though, both in early October.

We were thinking of renting a pontoon at Carter tomorrow.
