it's all about a give and take from ride quality to durability :(

cant they just make a soft riding, quiet, off road tire that lasts for 60k. haha

They make this available for both the sequoia and the tundra. This is the exact one I got off Amazon. Its a little pricy, but its stout compared to the stock shifter knob.

Note, you will have to cut or dremel off the bottom inch of it since the shifter pole goes so far up the knob. Everytime I describe this, it just opens the door for dick jokes.

... that also increases MPGs and penile girth. Seems feasible.

Yea I know man, but atleast you know you would appreciate it every day. It took me a while to consider getting it, but it does make the ride feel better. I think you can find this for about $98 shipped, but you would have to confirm the fitment which I think shouldn't be hard.

Also, my stock OEM shifter had a deep scratch right in the middle that would annoy me everytime I had my hand on it. So to me it fixed a continuous itch.

What awning did you get for a tad more? The Hasika? I've been eyeing that thing. Saw @Casper66 pics of it. Look's pretty neat.

The 4'x7' ARB Awning found below. With 20% it was like $130 no tax/free shipping. :D

Nice. I've been hesitant to pick up an awning. I'd love to see how this one looks once it's deployed. I'm transitioning from setting up a table and putting my freestanding 10x10 awning up to prepping out of the bed/tailgate now the I have the RTT on the way. Something like this would be great but it wouldn't leave too much extra room for lounging under with the tailgate open is my concern.

What 10'x10' awning do you have? I was looking at the Ozark one that Walmart makes. Seems pretty functional for what it is.

I have exactly that one. Got as a gift 3 or 4 years ago. I use it all the time. Still works- Not as nicely as it once did but no leaks, none of the hinges or pins have broken. Just a little rusty and the pins don't snap into place as well as they used to.

This should be a good size to give me some shade while using my tailgate as a workbench.
