Pulled Pork for dinner. It's been a while and I have been craving it bad so I fired it up early this morning. I also tried out my new Smoke Thermometer which worked great. Next smoke I do will be an overnight brisket. http://www.thermoworks.com/Smoke

Was about 8 hours between breakfast\lunch and supper but worth it. And is pretty much my norm anymore.

Hard to get good Buffalo Wings without deep fat frying but pulled it off tonight on the charcoal grill with a Vortex mod. Damn they were great and have enough left over for lunch tomorrow.

A little apple wood for light smoke. Marinated in peanut oil, a little salt and pepper.

    Melting Franks and butter

Double dipped and back on the grate

    Done

Blue Cheese dip of course. No beer or celery but that was fine. Pulled off a twofer today and both were fantastic. I love chicken wings but they are about a dollar each around here and not that great IMO. I expect to use the hell out of this $40 Vortex mod a couple of times a week.

Sam's Club is about to have the best price on the GMG Davey Crocket, it's their smallest, travel/camping 12v/110 smoker. My dad got one a month ago and it is amazing.

The DC can usually be found for $349, plus $50 for the cover, and the two small bags of pellets... so $400+ for $300. :woot:

Starts at 11pm CTZ on the 4th so you all know and ONLINE ONLY.

Working the late shift this week so I thought I would make me lunch and my better half dinner. Kroger was blowing out some super, fatty, steroid injected quartes. Three for $2.68 couple with garlic, onion, Yukon and red tatters. Something about cherry burning in the morning
