That's a great idea I'm going to try to expand them if they end up being too short I'll give them to someone with a extended cab maybe they will fit better there

You definitely have my attention too. I've been wanting to respray my grille, but now will wait and see if the inlay becomes available. If so, I will just pop the center
piece off while spraying and put the inlay on it. That's assuming you are staying with the wet install. I have your inlays on my other badges, so this would tie in
very nicely with what I have going on my truck!

My "secret" is my local detailer. He ain't cheap, but he works magic! I was stoked after I saw how he was able to get 98% of the scratches out. Well worth it in my opinion. I gave him a good tip.

I have the AVS visors (I like 'em), but I'm intrigued how WeatherTech designed the front of the front window's visors. I think I'd like how they go down to the bottom of the window. Driving around during heavy rains, especially at highway speeds, the water kind of swirls around that part of the window making it near impossible to see out the side mirrors (which happened without any visors as well). Looking at WeatherTech's design, I'd think the water would ideally clear that corner of the window.

I'm partial to Fenix & Olight brands. Several other good ones; lots of junk ones. Candlepowerforums.com is the site for flashlight geeks. Fine reviews, new products, bargains.

Fenix TK35UE is my all time fave, great bedside light, wide even flood beam with brightness settings from a few lumens up to 2000, which will light up a block.

Olight makes the best tiny but bright & flexible light, the S1-r Baton. A single cr123, always have one in a pocket.IMG_3942.jpg

Klarus G30 is one of the brightest but takes 3 18650s so it's big big. I just bought a Sunwayman c23c because I wanted USB charging capabilities. It's small and I'm sure it will be bright. Shipping says will be here tomorrow so took about a week.

Couldn't find it cheaper anywhere and looks like perfect size for truck. Get yourself some good 18650s like nitecore, Panasonic's or the red LGs.

If you want cheap cheap but bright and reliable look at the ultrafire w501b

Threw in some Amber LED fog bulbs.

They were like $12 on eBay!

    I'm impressed so far

Finished up my @mattgecko tool box light together with my hood light kit. Mounted a toggle in the tool box. Did a quick tap into the hood light fuse link. Awesome lights. Now can easily see in bed and tool box at night.

I like these fogs. Post up how the throw/distance is on these. Read a lot of complaints on here about not getting good distance with upgraded fog bulbs.

I use the Streamlight 88033 ProTac. It's lasted me over 2 years so far with daily use at the shop. I also have a brand new one in the truck tool bag. It fits easily in my pocket, takes AA batteries, and has good output. $40
