So I looked on the forum and couldn't find the mod I found the other day. I saw a mod someone did that allows the cigarette lighter port to always be on even when the car is off to charge stuff (phone, headphones, etc), can someone post a link to show me where it's at or how to do it?

Be aware that any transformer or converter is a little un-efficient power sucking parasite that even when plugged in and not charging or powering a device is still pulling current..

Yup, easiest/best mod I've done to my truck. That was 10+ years ago for me.

Was super bummed when I found out they switched to solid state electronics instead of replays for the new 4Runners, so I can't do this mod unless I run all new wiring. doh!
