    So I found the source of my weird noise in the back of the truck:

    Just ordered two new General HD springs to replace them and new U-Bolts from Wheeler's. Thought about going with a different spring, but the height and ride from these was perfect, and they're inexpensive.

    I took them apart and painted them with graphite based paint when I installed them to hopefully keep them from squeaking. I read later that graphite can react with the steel leaf springs are made of and it weakens them. Not sure how true that is because it seems a little crazy to me that a little graphite paint could make a big enough difference to steel of that thickness, but interesting anyway if that was the cause.

    That Home Depot had the door and extender kit I needed.
    Funny when I got home later i noticed window was cracked ... replaced it with a door closer to home .. (without anyyy problems .. got to be the first ) ...the kit is what I was after....

    Thanks, but because my front end is lifted 2 inches I need something a little beefier in the rear so it stays higher than the front. I have the Generals now and like the ride and height so I'm going to stick with it.
