I found the original spare tire in the back. About 2 weeks ago I found a 2015 spare in craigslist to replace it and figured today was as good a day as any.

The Daddywagon is on jack stands again because I intended to work on fuel system, but with today being Mother's day, the fuel system is gonna have to wait.

Nice! I am digging this sleeper. Any reason you went with the IRS rear rather than the solid? If you're gonna be railing corners the IRS is better but you get some massive wheel hop with the Cobra IRS for drag racing. Make sure you get a diff brace and maybe even and IRS cage with bushings if you're gonna wanna hook up. :) Just a tip from someone who has lived it.

I have always been a road course type. I did a Skip Barber 3 day 20 years ago. I just never got in to drag racing. But I am not averse to building another foxbody in that vain! Haha!

This thing is hideously amazing! So, god awfully fantastic! I'd say it's the most frumpiest, and delightfully grotesque project all rolled into one brilliant lump! You my friend, are a turd polishing champion! It's something special!

As a matter of fact, this thread is my guilty pleasure, and I only dare read through it when nobody's watching. And when I'm constipated, my first line of attack is to browse this build for inspiration. And as if on queue, the world starts flowing again. After all, that brown streaked pile is built to run fast!

Thank you! I salute you for your service! Bawwwooosh!

Wow! I just went through the title list and watched a little of his plan video and that is a lot of good information. Certainly could've used some of that info earlier and a lot of it will still come in handy for the rest of my build. Thanks!

Father's Day bike ride! Someday I will have bike trays on top of the Daddywagon! I am also contemplating the fabrication of a hitch receiver for it!

I guess they didn't have any fat tires available when you bought that bike?

JK, I really dig this build. I used to have an '80 Chev wagon that me and my buddy dropped a 383 + TH350 into and all was good until the stock rearend grenaded.

I have had the Surly Moonlander for a couple of years now. I jumped on the bandwagon earlier than most I think and paid the price literally. Haha! If I had known I would be able to go to Toys-r-us and pay 1/10th... well. But I really like the bike. I have ridden it on the beach on a few vacations at the shore and still enjoy the novelty of it even though it is waning at this point. Haha!

Spaghetti! Ford Racing's M-12071-A50. This is the wiring harness that enables you to install the sequential electronic fuel injected 302 or 351 pushrod v-8 into anything. It comes complete with instructions...thank goodness!

The A9L ecm is already installed in the kick panel where the original computer used to be.

I think it's time for another wrenching vacation. I have researched what is left to do to get the wagon running and driving. I have compiled a list of things to do. Mind you, this will not be the final completed vision for the Daddywagon, but a running and driving car will be a huge milestone considering the drivetrain and suspension swap! Add to that I will be winning a couple of coffee bets at work if it runs and drives before labor day!

A northshore rack would be hilarious. Like 3 times the height of the car!
