Nothing compares to the 22r/22re motors. My '85 xtra cab 4x4 was a tank and never quit.

The TSB for needle bearing replacement will put people back at square one. Pointless and waste of time. They replace the OEM needle bearing with another needle bearing. This has been discussed many times here.

I have a '17 TRDOR and I've always wondered if people here at TW are just so hardcore that they can't accept that spacer lifts are fine for all but the most hardcore off-roading. Do you think they make the truck any less off-road worthy? I'm on the fence, I want to lift but not spend so much money. However, I don't want to make it less off-road worthy by being too cheap. Any thoughts?

Only advice I could give you is go with 3 and 2 lift. Unless you don't like a little rake.

5100's all around, OME 887 with 1/4" spacer, icon 3 leaf aal. 255/75/17 BFG KM's on 4runner pro's. Rigid led pods. Debadged and tinted.
A lot of you guys are seeing over 1" rear lift from the block. Are you running extended length shocks? Or are the 3rd gen rears ok with 1"+ of lift? I remember that was the "threshold" on the 2nd gens. Granted, that was with people that also said a block, or leveling spacer would wipe out the Earth's population of baby seals. Thanks.

I'm running stock shocks on my 2nd gen and they are just fine. If you had anything over a 2 inch block in the rear then you should get longer shocks which would require longer brake lines. Low Range designed this kit to run stock shocks and I'm sure if you called them they would tell you the same.

Will a 34/11.5 tire fit with this lift with no trimming? is a did drop an extended brake lines necessary?
