Hey guys, some of you said you were interested in doing a Hollister hills meet up / trail run. @AntMan408 and I decided to organize something:

When: Sunday Aug 13th at 9:30am

Where: Meet up at the Gilroy Costco (7251 Camino Arroyo, Gilroy, CA 95020) at 9:30am. South side of parking lot near gas station - see picture. Fuel up if needed, and depart at 9:45 am for Hollister. We should arrive at Hollister Hills SVRA a little before 10:30am.

    What to bring:
    - some cash ($5 entrance fee)
    - water

I'm new to the Bay, so it would be great to meet some of the Northern CA crew...Let us know if you can make it next Sunday!

    Attending:
    1) @justin808
    2) @AntMan408
    3) @Batman!
    4) @Dave2017Taco
    5) @kingk0ng
    6) @sno pnda
    7) @Jorge3098

    Maybe:
    1) @pkang0915

Never been to hollister hills before. I have kings all the way around, but no sliders. Would I be okay in the trails without any damage?

For sure. How long you planning to be out there for? Just so I can get the all clear from the gf. Any other trail essentials required?

Awesome I'm on stock suspension in my or with 17 inch fn fx with some ko2s and nfab nerfs I should be good right if I stick to the novice trails? Is moderate probably doable? . This is my first tacoma and first 4x4 vehicle. Hopefully with time I can get better at judging lines etc. Also with a few more $$ invested coming in thr next year hopefully can do some of the moderate stuff to. Also new to Hollister hills just watched a few YouTube videos from jeeps and tacos doing their runs on different difficulty trails.

A lot of crap and too much money spent
You should be fine there, most of the trails are like fire roads. Just stick to the green trails and stay away from rock beds that have larger rocks in it.

it's pretty quick run. I've only been here once, but i think it only took us about 1.5 hours to get to the top, and we were taking our time. At the bottom there's an offroad like park with some obstacles we can test out as well.. but i would say not more than 3-4 hours tops. pretty nice view at the top too

yup. you'll be good, this is a pic of my fully stock truck near the peak, didn't need to air down my tires either. I'm pretty new to off-roading too. hopefully we can get some more experienced guys to get out here as well, but we should be fine.

I do apologize for asking this again I'm just seeing a couple mix comments.
Will I run into any issues on a stock 17' 4x4 Off Road ?
