started to build my bed drawers yesterday gonna be a little harder the anticipated. Still trying zero in on a final design...ill be posting pictures later.... as always i'm looking for any suggestions..... I'm using 1/2 in mdf board for the base and drawers, the using 3/4 for every thing else. haven't decide weather i,m going to use bearings and 1"x 2" metal tubing for the slide or just buy drawer slides. im also debating on how to fasten everything together either using glue or screw or both. also unsure if i should leave 8 inch or so a the back for my batter electronics and a water tank maybe. I will be bed lining the whole box

I have already plunge deep in these threads for ideas:

Drawers/bed organization is high on my list. I have been looking at the high capacity locking drawer slides. Like these. The aren't cheap but I like the idea of the drawers staying locked in the open position.

I was thinking of building my setup with T-slot aluminum extrusions and using the different sliders/bearing options that work with them. But damn does it add up in cost. It saves weight and looks professional, and that stuff is super easy to work with, industrial erector set. But yeah... you pay for it.

I would def use screws AND glue to secure everything...

either way, I'm excited to see your build. I think it will look great

yea when you can buy the same thing for $50.... but typical CL... some people trying to extort people who are not saavy w/ the internet.

(I do it all the time)

bought a crappy $30 light bar on Amazon for the Super Duty, it had the wrong mounts, so I sold it on CL for $50 because the dude was happy he didnt have to "order it online and wait for it"

I was thinking "It's Amazon Prime man... I got this shit in like 2 days."
