3rd Gen---BTLM + LED Retrofit

These lights actually make the camera clearer for me.

 

With the clear lens you painting in between the COB LED rows or do you have a red filter over it?

 

I painted the lines in between the LED on the COB boards themselves. Little more time consuming, but I like the stripped look when they are off.

 

Do you have any tips on the plastic welding? Did you use a welding iron or nitrogen gas with a filler rod?

 

Soldering iron. Flat wide tip. Spare ABS plastic for filler.\

Yep! I cut them apart and painted this weekend. I have some ABS filler rods coming today, but have never used them before.

Possible. But the 1k version(like on my own truck) doesn't have a reverse light. Just brake and turn signal.

Now this is something I'd definitely put on my truck. Clean as fawk!! As always, your work is amazing man!

 

Love these lights wish there was something with less work involved because you knocked it out of the park and there worth what your asking just can't spend that much on taillights so I went with the winjet leds not as cool but I like them ok

 

Then they wouldn't be custom! Where's the fun in that..

Those would be the regular BRO PROS. But, IMO the raptor glow bar is white..so they only look good on a white truck.


BEHOLD! The first set of Fully Blacked out BRO PROS. Turned out pretty slick.
The rear and side reflectors are still red..just heavily tinted. Reverse bucket is smoked chrome so it still has good light reflection(VS painted black which is horrible for light output)
the Horse shoe lens was also lightly smoked to give it a darker look when off.

Hard to capture in pictures..but they look clean and still "OEM'ish"
