This is not my pic but this is from a place in the Metro Detroit area. I didn't get a pic the last time we went. It's Chicago style and one of the best I've had. We have been going there for YEARS. Place is called PizzaPapalis.

Something to be said for nostalgia and food. Some places we remember being good but they really weren't and some places were really good and still hold up to that when you finally have it again.

This is really good yet pricey pizza. Some of the best I have ever had but not as good as Matthew's pizza in Baltimore. Matthew's was by far the best pizza ever.

No, just loaded pizza with cheese that will stretch as far as you like. If you ever come get the pan, it is special to say the least. It has layers upon layers of toppings.

That looks great. I'm going to make a deep dish cast iron pizza on Friday. I might dump the sauce on top now!

It's honestly some of the best pizza I've ever had. Have yet to take someone there and them not love the place. When my in-laws are in town they always ask us to take them there. My wife will take a picture when we go to eat there and send it to her dad saying guess where we are eating tonight. His response is usually a pretty good one :)

Same here. I'm shameless when it comes to pizza. But, my son is far worse off than me. He eats it about 5 days a week and still manages to stay fit. If only I could do that....

You could put it on some french bread and call it a French Bread Lasagna Pizza :)
