Planning on doing part of the Georgia Traverse in September.

If anyone has done it, what are some of the best sections to ride / camp for a weekend?

I was up in blue ridge back in march and tried to do some of hte sections south of the lake but they were all closed. I'd like to try and do the circle section. All that to say, sub'ed.

I did quite a bit of it a year or two ago in my old JK. It's fun. nothing challenging, but some nice sights. There are plenty of places just to stop along the road and camp. I'd just drive along the route until it got late and started looking for a place to stop for the night.
Beasley knob is fun area, again nothing too challenging, it's all maintained. I met a group of guys in a stock Cherokee Trailhawk who were messing around in there, other than a few clearance issues, they had no issues. Cool place to camp too.
