Been SLOWLY making some additions to my enclosed trailer / toy hauler / RV. Finally finished my aluminum bed frame this week.

    IMG_1359.jpg IMG_1360.jpg IMG_0344.jpg IMG_0346.jpg

Initially I was looking at a fold down option from the side wall but that got nixed because I could only haul one motorcycle without a lot of grief. This got modified to a stand alone unit that can be positioned lengthwise or crossways. Bins fit underneath nicely. Put the mattress on but it tended to hang between the cross supports. Added a skin of 16ga aluminum to complete the all aluminum frame. Still light but very sturdy. Hope to bring it to work one day and weight the whole thing.

IMG_1271.jpg I needed a mount for my "vintage" marine Force 10 BBQ. Made it out of 2x1" .125" aluminum I had kicking around. Tig welded joints.

Second knife down. Gerber Air Ranger.

Hands down the best $19 knife I have ever known. I have owned at least one, at any given point since 2002. I have three in various locations right now. I've owned more than 15 of the damn things over the years.... I have a strange obsession with loosing knives. Still have the haggard MRE opener from my tour in the sandbox though... she's a keeper.

    And to contribute.

Made a Halloween costume and won a contest with it. Not too shabby considering I got the flightsuit free and used dollar store items for the backpack.

A couple hours in the shop, First time turning a peppermill. Not the greatest finish but looks decent. The wood I used is pretty hard, I'll have to go see what type of wood it is.

turned these in the last couple days...I was going to try and sell them at a craft fair next week but my wife liked them, so she claimed them...lol one salt and one pepper. The wood of the first one I turned is Angelique...which is really dense hard wood. I wondered why it was taking so long to turn:) Not necessarily difficult just time consuming...

what price would one realistically buy a set like these? Im trying to price them reasonable but sometimes the wood is more pricey than I would think they are worth. What do you folks think? One block of this particular laminate is $13.75 + $9.99 for the grinder kit...Im finding different woods cheaper but thats what this particular wood cost.

Made these couple days ago. They are sold already. 8" and 10" they look thicker than they are.
