Supercharged tacoma

How easy was the tuning? Does it come with a safe plug and play map, does it come with a wide band o2? Any issues or just nice smooth power? Forced induction rocks! Nice work!

Draws same as stock, and draws same as urd or volant at approx 40mph.
Sad but true.
Ambient is ambient, verified via scangauge2 and ultragauge

They all pull ambient around 40mph.

The trd kit for my dads old 4runner didn't come with injectors and spark plugs we had to buy them separate

Um, no.

The tuner is a BD tuner with map parameters specified by Magnuson. The plugs and injectors are the same Denso part #s that came with the discontinued TRD supercharger.

Some people have had issues with the BD tuner. I did not (6MT tune seems fine). I only monitor A/F through the scan gauge (narrow band) but I have not observed lean conditions or any other issues. Seems when people start adding smaller pulleys, CAIs, exhausts and go outside the parameters of the stock tune that is when issues tend to arise.

 

Doesn't matter if you are boosted. Air heats up big time when it is compressed

 

cooler the air charge going in, the less it heats up afterwards and the less heat has to be pulled out by the innercooler.
