Check engine light is still on

My check engine light came on at 90k miles. The diagnostic tool read the variable speed sensor was bad. I changed the one by the transmission, but the light is still on. Where else do I look for a speed sensor?

 

Did you clear the light after you changed it?

 

Yes. I brought it to my mechanic for an oil change and he checked it also.

 

If the light came back on with the same code maybe it's time to get an actual diagnostic done. The code would help.

Isn't that a wheel speed sensor issue? There are 4. Have any work done or any trauma to a specific wheel?
