I hope to be able to make it up to the Tall Corn Classic and wheel with you all again. It will be a last minute call though as I am swamped with projects. Hope all is well with you guys!

The structure is all "cedar tone" pressure treated pine from Home Depot. The deck boards are IPE from advantagelumber.com. It's a hardwood from brazil that is 3 times harder than oak.

Well I know that may have stung a bit :boink: but think happy thoughts as it could have been worse. Left one of my vehicles parked for a while and random electronic accessories such as cruise control, wipers, RADIO, etc... were working intermittently. Turns out a family of mice had taken up residence in a corner of engine bay near my wiring harness and the little b@st@rds had used the harness as a chew toy. Fortunately modern wiring harnesses have many color options but d@mn I think I have had enough exposure to soldering iron and shrink tubing.

Dreading digging into Lexi's harness again for a short that will drain my dual battery setup in 2 days if I don't pull the battery terminal on each one. Here is what it looks like when I tracked down the short for the power antenna the last time.

Well I have some good news and some bad news regarding Fall Crawl w/ TAC at Flat Nasty Sept 22-24, 2017.

    Bad News:
The TAC Treasurer and I sat down and went over the numbers from last years event and determined that our fixed costs for the event are actually $35 rather than the $25 that the TAC President and I had come up with while the Treasurer was out of town. Extra meals will remain the same at $10 each.

    Good News:
The $35 registration fee for Fall Crawl 2017 is cheaper than the $50 registration fee that we had charged last year for the event with T-shirt for the driver.

    More Good News:
Our web hosting service has surfaced and the TAC website is back. I will be working on getting the registration page for this years event up this week and I will post a link when registration is up and running.

    Best News:
I am making contact with several new sponsors and our Raffle will be stocked with many more valuable prizes than the Habor Freight merchandise that was the predomiate theme at last years Fall Crawl.

Therefore, make sure you bring some cash for raffle tickets which are only $1 each. Sneak peek will be coming soon thanks to the following sponsors:
    Molle Toyota
    Olathe Toyota
    Adams Toyota
    4WheelParts
    The Overland Shop
    Adventure Motors
Please thank these businesses for their support and as I get confirmation from other sponsors I will let you know.

Suspension, 33s, some armor... Rust, Gray wire and 2Low, and more. T4r is stock.
Anybody going to Tall Corn from Eastern IA or IL? I might be able to make it for one day and was wondering if anyone from my area would be there...

@ClevSix I'll be rolling up from KC on Fri AM and stay thru Sun. I think we may have wheeled and let a bit of lead fly on a farm
not too far from MIOBI year before last.

It would be a long slow drive over to MIOBI for me but I really want to make it at least one day. I'm going to try to be there on Saturday.

Rob, I don't think he was there.
I will be going Saturday.(probably get there around 8am with my 85' 4Runner) I don't believe anyone from on here from DSM area is going. I am not sure how they plan on doing trail runs, if they have anything organized. If you have never been and need help getting around let me know, I have been going there since 2005. Would love to see more Tacoma guys show up.
