[Norfolk, VA] STOLEN 8/7/17!

Facebook user said that the vehicle was last seen at the Wawa at 4005 Victory Rd in Portsmouth as of 1130 this morning. Still in apparently complete and unmolested condition

 

That's the latest intel I have. Portsmouth and Norfolk PD both have Be On The Lookout notices issued.

 

Hope you get it back. I have had 2 vehicles stolen from me - 69 Jeepster Commando and 63 CJ. Still bummed about the CJ, it was an off-road only jeep on 37's and a small block 327 with a muncie sm420 transmission. Only vehicle I would ever want back after being stolen. My attitude is usually - once its gone I dont want to ever see it again. That chopped up jeep was a hoot to drive and was a beast on the trails. There were several attempts to steal it when I had it parked in my field, it wasnt untill one night when I left it on the car-hauler that the whole setup was stolen. They deflated the tires on the hauler with the wheel immobilizer on them and figured out a way to defeat the hitch lock and off they went.

 

Still no word on this yet....anyone seen anything?

Recovered by the cops parked in the projects of norfolk. Everything still there, no damage surprisingly. Center console was cleaned out but no big deal. Still awaiting the forensic inspection.

Whoever snagged it must have been really dull in the head. My toolbox was still in the bed of the truck.
