These will stay put for sure. They are the same thing that is used to secure the factory mats on my Audi and VW vehicles and I have never had an issues with them. I'm ordering some for my Taco as well unless I have some in the garage from my GTI left over. I think they came with my VW Monster Mats. They work well.

Now that they are on mine for a while they do see really secure. Really good addition if you have the OEM All Weathers

I just went to the dealer and bought the OEM clips... it seems wayyyy harder that way. I can't even get through the floors material.

Anyone have any leftovers from an order of the VW clips and screws??

    Easy peezey thanks.

    Cut a circle 1inch.
Align the top and bottom button.
Smack with a rubber mallet to lock in
Small drill bit to drill the carpet in the cab to start the hole
Hand screw into the carpet with the button screw. Put over and latch

Just the carpet to make a hole. The screw goes in the carpet only

I installed mine a while back, but I didn't drill the carpet. Just bear down hard when starting to twist the piece into the carpet. Once it gets started it screws in easily. Mine have been installed about 6 months and I haven't had to touch them since.

It's just easy to start a small hole before you twist to insure its in perfectly.

Did my floor mats on Sunday. Pretty straightforward. Took about 45 minutes. Got parts from Amazon. Cost around $25.20170813_152547.jpg 20170813_152317.jpg
