With a full tank, my drivers side is about 1" lower. Thinking about having the main leaf on that side re-arched to make up the difference.

Need a little help on my lift. Darkars should arrive Thursday!!

Current set up: DCLB, 4x4, Snugtop SS Shell(150lbs??), Relentless Fab standard rear bumper with HD Hitch (maybe 10-20lbs over stock with hitch), Relentless Fab Rock sliders (150lbs spread out), 10% of the time I carry gear.

Front is at 21.125" DS 21.5" PS with 6112 after settling. Back is currently 23" DS 23.25" PS. (Looks pretty good, I could deal with the back being a little higher)

I like the factory rake. Was wanting to know if I should remove the second overload or the 3rd from top? Don't really want to go over 24" Do I have too much static weight to remove the 3rd leaf?

If I put in the full pack I could always bump up the 6112 a notch to retain 2-2.5" of rake, but I was hoping to not have to mess with the front again. I only have 265/75r16 tires and don't plan on going up to 285's, don't want the big lift tiny tires look.

Currently I have 5100's in the back will I need to get longer shocks to achieve full droop? Seems like a lot of guys are running 5100's with Darkars.

    Thanks

@OZ-T, I'm currently sitting (stock rear) at 20.5" (DCSB) with a shell. I'm a couple weeks away from installing a @Pelfreybilt HighClearance Rear with swingout and 285 spare. I keep recovery gear in the back most of the time. I don't want to sit too high in the rear, but I need to be able to handle the added weight, especially when camping. Can you suggest a solution to my setup?

(I have King Coilovers with almost no preload. Trying to stay level but not go to high.)

I go off road regularly, and I like to play in the rocks. It's also my daily driver, and I load it with an additional 350lbs when camping. (I hope I included enough info)

Had my suspension installed today. 6112s w/ Eibach 650# springs, JBA UCAs, OME Dakar full leaf pack w/d29xl aal and Bilsten 5100 B110 shocks. Both leafs packs are "+".

Where to start....With the rear set up above the ass end of the truck is quite high (almost too high). I have a SnugTop Rebel cap and a sleeping platform in the bed all the time but I did the aal because I will have a rear bumper, tire swing out and fuel swing out in a month and then next year the cap goes for a bed rack, RTT, fridge and gear.

Sorry for the bad pictures but I just ran out to the garage with the iPad. @OZ-T. I had just under half a tank of gas.

It will come down with the weight you are going to add

I hope so......also, tires are 265/70R17 Duratracs with 55000kms. New tires will be most likely be 255/80R17 ST Maxx on TRD PRO wheels so they'll fill the wheel well better.

Any guess by how much? The rear just seems really high but I know I'll be adding bumper weight soon. I'm wondering if I should just take out the d29xl aal or if it will be ok. There is a cap on there now and a sleeping platform in the bed.

Dakar related....I took the CB drop out and I have the exact same shudder when I start rolling and as far as I can tell, no other vibrations at city to highway speeds. Should I put the CB drop back in or leave it out?

I'm going to measure the angles sometime this week when I'm on days off.

Just installed the EL095R leaf packs on my 2011, replacing TSB leaf packs and a Wheelers three leaf progressive. Measurements prior to install were roughly 22.5" in the rear with about 200lbs of RTT, bed rack and misc crap. After install the driver's rear is at 23.25" and passenger rear is at 23.75". I was hoping for more since they are advertised as giving 2.75" lift at stock weight. I didn't own the truck with stock suspension but from searching on TW the rear is usually 22" from the factory. Only getting 1.25"-1.75" out of an advertised 2.75" kinda sucks.

The front end has 5100s set at 0 with 886 coils and a Pelfreybilt hybrid front with winch. DS measures 23" with a 1/4" spacer and PS measures 23.75". Overall the truck sits pretty much level at 38"/38.5" ground to fender on the driver's side and 39.25"/39.25" on the passenger side.

Edit: with the tent, bed bars and fridge removed and a hard tonneau cover added the rears are at 23.75"/24.25".

Last Saturday, I installed EL095R with the EL46XL in a 2008 AC with OEM front springs with 5100s at 1.75".

Replaced the OEM 2+1 springs with a Toytec 2" single leaf AAL. Before the Dakars, the rear height was 24". The AAL broke on both sides, likely due to age, adding some Hellwig990s which put extra pressure on the springs, and then moving almost overloaded for 1K miles. 10820 pounds.

    Hub to fender:
    Rear 24 5/8"
    Front 21 1/2"

Difference between driver and passenger side is negligible. Using a 6' level on the bed rails, I have maybe an inch of "rake" which should work out fine when I load it.

Any plans to update with the new EL springs? From what I've seen people are getting different heights than the CS springs...

Time to make my build page!
I measure 23 and 7/8" with my set of EL095R on the driver side. I have not driven it very far yet to get them to settled. Should I expect them to drop much of that height?

So I have an Dakar issue. Maybe I created it, let's see what the TW community thinks.

I have a leaf pack with the top overload leaf out and aftermarket anti-squeak pucks.
The driver side marked (+), seems to be sagging quite a bit.
The passenger side was marked (-).
Will the passenger side catch up with the driver side eventually or should I attempt to fix the lean somehow?

edit: These leaf packs have been on since August 2016.
