    Hey all

I suppose this question goes to the experienced fabricators out there.

Picked up an amazing custom rear bumper w dual swing outs from an awesome member on here. He used stock mounting points to mount it up.

My issue/situation: bed is bobbed and frame is chopped right behind rear shackles. After staring at it for several days, one possible solution came to mind: I know people grind and drill out the rivets on the stock shackle mounts for flipped shackles. I'm considering drilling the same rivets out, replacing w grade 8 bolts, and then fabbing up mounts that would attach at those 3 bolts from the inside of the frame.

I'm curious people's thoughts, and if you think the frame would be strong enough to hold both the shackle mount and then the rear bumper as well. Other issues you see? Alternative solutions?

Thanks in advance for your help!
