Rear will be 20%, front might be 35% or 50%. Can't go crazy in NH. Technically not supposed to tint anything in a sedan. Gonna try to get a doctor's note for front tints lol.

Total bullshit that they made it part of the inspection. Lord Cuomo really needs to chill the fuck out.

It was huge in the beginning because DMV inspectors would come and inspect the inspection stations to make sure they were failing cars with tints. The would fine the shop, $2500 and the inspector $2500, and pull the licenses from the shop and inspector from what I personally overheard from a DMV inspector that was at Goodyear in the beginning of the year. Idk if this is legit or just a scare tactic but that would hurt bigger shops that do inspections, mainly dealers since they need to do the inspection before they sell it.

Give it another few months or so and I'm sure a majority of places won't give a shit anymore. It was definitely a problem in the beginning.

I had my inspection Passed last month with 20% tint at a local shop by my job. He checked it. Said they are illegal, and passed it anyway. Told me if I get pulled over, to just say I had them tinted after inspection. My brother also took his truck to his local shop and they never said a word about it. I think just Stay away from dealers and you will have a better shot.

This... ratting on a inspection station after passing someone should be grounds for a ban from future service at said station :)

Really a shame the law doesn't simply limit tint to 45-50%, no leo is going to have an issue with those levels.

Fact. I don't have an issue with those. It's also mainly a city thing. So when I pull someone over in the city, it's because I can't see your face. 40% is enough light to see someone's face even at night. 20% not so much. 10% even worse.

Lord Cuomo has spoken... Him and the Democratic Party know what is best for you and your family. (And law enforcement... Ha ha) Bow down to him and offer him more of your hard earned money.

Just got this for my wife's car for the baby. I'll let you know how it works out.
Also, big shout out to @youngsurfrat for helping me out with the cap! Him and his father helped install as well. Thanks again my man.
