I've got 285 Nitto Terra Grapplers with adjustable UCAs and a 3" lift, TRD wheels. I noticed the rubbing on the UCA just the other day and am wondering what I should do? My first thought it wheel spacers, they seem like an inexpensive fix and have varying widths. What do y'all recommend?

3/4" boras should do the trick...

Hard to say, sometimes it feels like it rubs when I am just driving straight down the road but most definitely when I cut the wheel hard.

What does your alignment look like, did you have it aligned after the install and do you have a print out of the specs?

I did, the same day in fact. I'd have to go dig out the paper work.

getting wheel spacers or different wheels with the correct offset and backspacing sounds like would be the two options in solving your issue here

but post your alignment specs as well, and let us know exactly what UCAs you put on their as well as the rest of the lift along with some photos

I couldnt find the alignment specs, they are Light Racing UCAs but looking at the paperwork it says Specalty Products Company? I built the package from Head Strong, Bilstein 5100 shocks front and rear, 887 front coils. I've found some rub spots here and there. I had already cut my fenders from running Grabber AT 265s.

Those tires are close. I would run the smallest spacer needed to clear a bit more. Or an offset wheel.

I hope your truck is on jack stands in those pics. Your angles are all fucked up from too much lift otherwise.

I was thinking same thing. Until I noticed his steering is turned full lock. Looks like the uca is flexing out.

I turned a hard circle in my drive way to see if I could feel it or see it rubbing, then backed up in reverse and went the other way to see if I could feel it. Which I couldn't feel it but I can see wear marks so?

I would double check where the alignment #s are first and foremost. And prob change the setting on the adjustable plate.

I am assuming you are within the factory settings...

I bet if you align closer towards zero camber zero toe and 2.5 caster it might help alleviate some of your issues.

assuming you like your trd wheels, but getting wheels with 4.5 back space and zero offset would also likely solve some of your issues here

    just my .02

Looking at the photos a bit closer it looks like your UCA's are installed backwards???? I would need to a side shot above the tire to verify but this would be a reason they needed to max the ball joint forward to compensate for your controls arms being backwards as if you passenger is on the driver side.

those arms are NOT installed backwards, the position of the d plate though is not optimal
