Hello all who pay a visit,

This here beaut is my 07 TRD Off Road build!

    Factory specs:
    07 Toyota Tacoma
    TRD Off Road 4x4
    RR Diff Lock

    Added mods (so far)!

The typical "I have no idea what I'm doing with a camera in my hand" angle.

I decided over this past weekend to take a few parts off the truck and get to painting. Ended up sanding/painting the wheels, rear bumper, and front grill. All of which were chrome so you can imagine the limp arms I had after it was all said and done. I went with the old Walmart special "Rustoleum Bed Liner" for $4.88 a can and to be honest, I think it turned out great. We'll see how it holds up in six months time but hey, easy touch ups.

The primer dry, (1st) & wet, (2nd). The spray on bed liner, wet (3rd).

Like I said, we'll see how it all holds up in about six months!

Next, I ordered Bilstein 5100 Adjustable front and rear shocks, lower control arms made by MOOG (pretty cheap on Amazon), eccentric bolts for the LCA's, and an add a leaf for the rear to level out the new 2.5 inches being added in the front. All in all, I am very pleased with how well the shocks are performing. Of course, it has only been a few days but I've driven to Dallas every day from Fort Worth and back for work (on I635 mind you) and they've been great. The previous Bilstein shocks that were still on there from the factory were very old and had basically zero travel left in them, so these new shocks have been a great upgrade. A lot of people debate on whether the new Bixstein's will be a better ride than what they've had before, but that all depends on how terrible that ride was. In my case, pretty freakin terrible.

Quick pic of the grill after I sprayed the bed liner on. (Next mod - fix that dang passenger headlight) And a few more pics of wheels and rear bumper :)

Thank you for stopping by and I'll be sure to keep this thing updated as my project continues! If anyone would like, ask me for the details and more pictures on how I painted everything/installed the new shocks and I'd be more than happy to answer!

    God bless ya'll taco lovers.
    Let's go wheelin?
