    If the cold side was open to atmosphere, you would see a vacuum. IF it were a minor leak on the cold side, you may not see full boost, but you would see some. If the wastegate is not holding closed to create boost, the system will equalize as everything is allowed to spin freely

    So i have more of an issue with the wastegate than originally assumed? It only would go to 0 psi and we got up over 3k rpms. So maybe put a stiffer spring in and see if it holds it shut enough to build boost.

    No exhaust leaks pre turbo? No intake couplings off? Air filter clean? Turbo spins freely? Wastegate diaphragm not pinched?

    Vacuum hose to wastegate, attached to side/lower port? Where is that hose referenced from? Turbo compressor housing, charge pipe, or intake manifold?

    No crazy vacuum leaks on the intake?

    All off the boost references are coming from the port that the pcv was routed off the upper plenum. Pretty sure i dont have an exhaust leak other than what is bypassing at the wastegate. I think i have all the vacuum leaks taken care of since the idle is normal and for the most part i can keep my fuel trims in check. Airfilter is clean. I think the diaphram is fine but ill double check when swap springs.

    Just with my little experience if the boost gauge only goes to 0 the all of the boost is going somewhere else besides where the boost gauge is reading. In my case it was a coupler that came off. The only other time that happened was when the first turbo seized.

    Hard to tell without pressure building up. But its a good chance it may b stuck open. Try opening up the WG to make sure it moves freely and not binding. Could also be diaphram as torspd mentioned. Jus remembered, Did you put the fire ring on the WG?

    Definitely take it off and look at it. Take the cap off and inspect the diaphragm and valve's movement. Upon reassembly, spray the draphragm with WD-40 so that it doesn't get pinched while tightening the cap down.

    I wouldn't yet go to a larger spring, until you figure out what is going on.

    If you pull the air filter off, have the engine running, and watch how free the compressor spins when you give it gas.

    Also. Is the BOV staying open the whole time, or is it working properly? Get a video of it while idling and gassing.

    I spoke with kurt4726 from customtacos about the inline fuel pump and he said he runs an inline fuel pump along with the stock pump after he determined that after 3500 rpm the fuel pressure drops on his 3rz.

    IIRC he's gotten his stock motor up to 15psi with that set up on E85 with a Megasquirt3, 550cc primary and 220cc secondary injectors.

    I bet it was more than 300 ~14 psi should basically doubles hp plus he was on e85
