Like what? It's just a car. There is nothing special about it that is different from a Japanese car. Has an engine, frame and 4 wheels. This is such a misconception about euro cars. They don't have magic jelly bean motors and run off unicorn farts. It's the same stuff

The rate of labor from the dealerships are about the same when it comes to German vs Japanese.

However, there are some make and models from Germany that are known to have more issues and failure. I have own both Mercedes and BMW. In my own experience the motor and tranny on the E39 528i and E60 545i were solid. But the electrical and modules were a different story. When they go out it cost a lot to replace. I had 3 modules go out in the E60 and the dealer wanted $9k to repaired them. Independent Germany shop quoted me $5k-$6k. I was like F that and loaded that POS to a good friend and went and got an E500 w/ 34k. The funny thing is that the modules had water damage due to a design issue. Similar story with the E39.

No, they just use brittle plastics for the cooling system, put timing chains on the back of the engine, use obscure fasteners that strip when exposed to real-world corrosion, and have multiple ECUs for basic functions like windows and headlights that are all "married" to each other for theft protection...

At least the Supra will be assembled in Austria instead of eastern Europe like lower-end BMWs...

Haha I work with a bunch of German interns, if you dare say a Toyota is better in any way than their beloved BMWs then get ready for a shit show. Germans take serious pride in the cars that come out of their country.

^Wheels are cool, maybe some variation of Volk CE28Ns. Looks like the Supra will use lug bolts like many other European cars, instead of lug nuts.

Talking about these ones. They look a bit more "weight efficient":

Nvm, I think they are OZs.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Someone needs to photoshop the new car onto a flatbed and dealer repair bay - as it will be their normal habitat since being developed by BMW.
