I searched for this but did not find a thread that applied. I figured it out after inspecting the antenna carefully. No fancy tools needed. Antenna has a 2 straight parallel edges near the bottom which allow you to use a small crescent wrench to remove it. Simply turn the antenna counterclockwise to remove. Thread back on by hand and slightly tighten with the wrench. Do not overtighten. I recommend you remove it when taking it to any car wash that uses machines/brushes that spin. You risk having it broken off, otherwise. Do not forget to turn the mirrors inward also.

I had to do this today. The bottom part of the sheared off bolt is usually somewhat loose. Use a small regular drill bit and center it as best as possible. Drill a hole in the old stud about 1/32. Use a small star bit slightly larger than your hole and tap it in until snug. Then just unscrew the lower section of the sheared of bolt. Simple but it works!
