Check an monitor oil level. If low put some in it. Little oil goes a long way. Don't take much to look like a whole lot.

Took mine in today for 20k service (despite only having 6250 miles), both recalls, and ECU flash. The service advisor explained mine wasn't bad enough to have to keep and the service order said they replaced the CPS, the diff failed the check and parts have been ordered.

Driving home the throttle response seemed much better after the CPS replacement/ECU flash and the shifting seemed to be smoother. It felt more like it does when the ECT is on, but it wasn't. Only time will tell if that lasts.

Happy that I was able to drive my truck home -- not so happy that it took more than twice as long as they said it would (said 1.5 hours, took 3.5 hours).

I would have demanded a loaner. That is a lot of moisture. Mine looked similar but not that bad and wet. My stains came down the entire carrier from top bolt to the pinion. They kept mine 38 days. If you drive it everyday and it's your livelihood, then why risk the truck, your livelihood or worse your family.

Gotta love the Toyota/Dealer logic. Barley weeping= Take your truck for 3 months, dripping all over, send you home and wait for parts....................

Friggin' Sirius turned my service back on and didn't tell me. Apparently, they only "suspend" an account for 60 days before automatically turning it back on. So everyone with Sirius/XM service, stay on top of that.

When you call them and bitch about this crap, though, they offer you 6 months of the Select package for the "inconvenience."

I imagine they'd make a shitload more money if they knocked this Mickey Mouse bullshit off and simplified their billing practices.

If you requested that they cancel it, or an existing agreement "timed out", you do not own them a penny for providing you with unrequested service. It is the same consumer protection law that states you can keep anything you get in the mail, that you did not specifically order...

Reminds me of those kids in Tijuana that run up to your car at a stop light and clean your windshield then say you owe them money.

Does anyone have pictures of their differentials after the repair was performed. Please post them if possible. Mine came back looking like this.

Here's one. Looks like the black gasket seal is also oozing out but the red on yours really makes it stand out.

So they did not use RTV? That's what I'm trying to figure out. A dealership did the repair but it looks shadetree to me. I'm sure it will never leak but worry about RTV in differential, alignment of driveshaft, and future issues. There is no mention of RTV in recall or on service order once work was complete. If RTV was called for, shouldn't it had been black for use around oil versus red for high temp?

Considering some other folks on here have been waiting 2-3 months, 3 weeks isn't bad IMO

I am worried about a thicker gasket causing miss alignment and other problems down the road!
