3 years? That's pretty good. I'm still using a boss me-33 multi from 2007. :anonymous:

My last was a Boss Chorus. I built a pedalboard about 5-6 years ago to get all my stuff in one place. I have a shelf full of various TS808 clones. I've had somewhere between 50-70 pedals since 1999. I probably have 12-15 pedals now. I sold several rare, discontinued and boutique pedals a couple years back. People are paying out the wazoo for some of those things. Hard not to sell when something I paid $20-$30 used was selling for $180-$250 a pop.

I only have 5 pedals right now: MXR Carbon Copy, MXR Dyna Comp, TC Poly Tune, Dunlop Crybaby Mini, and the Mesa channel switch/boost pedal that came with my amp.

    Yawn...
    Quite the MXR fan myself.

Or am I just a fan because the local music store just has them on sale?

Morley Classic Wah - had it since high school.
    Vox Wah
    MXR (analog chorus/fullbore metal/dynacomp)
MXR DC brick to power it all.

Will take a pic when I clean things up.

How about some pictures of the pedals, fellas?

    Pedals are sexy....

    And

    A plek'd Steve Vai floral pattern Jem77pbfp.
    Shipped today, arriving sat.
This was their only plek'd Jem77. Sent me the stock fotos and the serial number matches my invoice.
Huge purchase for me. Not sure I would have been happy with the Jem jr.

Here's a pic of my mid 80's Ibanez roadstar II that I painted just after high school to mimic a Jem because that was my dream guitar. Still have it and it actually plays super sweet.

Had to switch my display out, ran out of stands.
Jem is on the FedEx truck somewhere. Gotta work tonight so I doubt I will even get to unbox it unless it comes sometime soon.

Dammit! Now I want one!!! Oh, no-just saw this one! I love how it looks kind of like a traditional Strat, but its still obviously a Jem. Luckily I don't have the cash to drop right now. May have to look at picking one up used down the road.

That's a beautiful seafoam green!. I think I saw one in the catalogue. It's a premier neck jem as well. The codes are colors so probably (sfg).

I'm going to have to take mine in for a setup. Even though Sweetwater does a 55 point inspection including intonation, relief, tuning.....this one is completely off. They must have Stevie wonder working in the tech dept.

Got some string buzz and some intonation issues but other than that, it's on the money.
I've read some and watched some vids on a "plek machine" which this one has gone thru. It's pretty interesting and I didn't even realize plek'd was a thing.

Check out the Jem jr. It's only $500 and it looks like it has some pretty good reviews.

Got the Jem loaded up to drop of for a setup in the morning. Then off to try and snag another Dean model "dime o flage" for $145 at a local pawn shop. Hopefully its in decent enough shape to use as a project.

Also found an Ibanez Jem jr. Thats already been upgraded to dimarzios as well as the pots for $350.
But this guy hasnt called back. :(

My wife just bought me this today in an attempt to try and get me playing again. About 3-4 years ago I tore my rotator. 3 surgeries later and it's the best it's been in a long time... but some things, like strumming, still doesn't come easy. During that time I got discouraged with playing and foolishly sold off pretty much all of my gear. Before that I was fairly active, and also had a side gig repairing/restoring old amps, and building custom new ones.

    Thanks!

It is a great sounding guitar, fairly light weight for an LP (I assume it's weight relieved); nice warm tone and low action. Of course since my 4 year old daughter loves the movie Sing and plays it on repeat, I spent most of the day entertaining her by playing Golden Slumbers and picking up on that song that the porcupine sings (Set is all free?), lol. Was a good fun day. Relaxing with an ice pack now, but it was worth it.

Well that oughta do it! Wow, rebounding from rotator cuff to a Les Paul. Good thing it is weight relieved. I have a 2011 tribute Goldtop model. It is certainly lighter than my friend's '70s Deluxe model. That thing is a sack of bricks.

Nice...and goldtop is king! I'll be buying one of these this year-2018 LP Classic goldtop with P-90s.

Do you like dark tone? Mine is dark as heck. I've had it six years and still can't figure out where it sits in my lineup. Granted, I play a lot less these days. I swapped to a Bigsby vibrato for a while before swapping again to a trapeze tail. I swapped out all the plastics for bone white rather than the pink toned stuff that comes stock. Swapped the tophats for speedknobs like these too. I've debated swapping the pups for some TV Jones Power'Trons, but I'm afraid their cream covers will clash with my bone plastics.

    I LOVE this tone:

The Jem is being sent back to sweetwater on tuesday.
My mid 80's jap roadstar 2 plays 3x better than it.
and maybe even my $145 Dean "DOF" pawn shop find. I simply cant justify a $2000 guitar over $145.
