A little heat, the fishing line, peel the extra adhesive with your fingers, wipe off the glue with a mild reduce, 2+2, or goo gone, and use a cleaner wax on the area to remove the shadow I just did the whole truck last week in less than an hour. For God's sake don't use a heat gun unless your used to it and don't get the emblem too hot or you can end up peeling the paint with it now that will ruin your day quick

Today I changed my oil and took a sample of it to send to blackstone labs. Also greased the driveshafts since I haven't done them since last oil change. Took about 4-6 pumps of grease before they purged. I also cleaned my radiators since my truck has been running hot when I am in hot 105+ F weather. I sprayed the engine off while I was cleaning the rads since I was already there. Can you see what part I didn't have on when I cleaned the engine bay? :DIMG_7736.jpg

I was going to do my calipers red, but after seeing the Ray 10s (probably my next mod) with the blue I might have to reconsider..
What paint did you use and where did you get those stickers?

Built a new sub box. Blew out my 2nd Kicker 8" in 3 years so I'm upgrading to a 10". Couldn't swallow the $450 for a JL so I got a new "b stock" Sundown for $140. Access cabs aren't easy but this proves it's possible to have a subwoofer that doesn't interfere with any of the 4 seats whatsoever!

Proof of concept in cardboard, original box on the right, beginning to build a stick frame. Changed a few things by ~1/2" to fit the bigger sub, changed from down to side firing:
    20170812_171435.jpg

    Stick frame fits great:

    Time to cut some MDF:

    Make sure its square!

Now we let the wood glue cure & caulk it tomorrow

I just used high temp paint for calipers I think, or engine enamel, duplicolor spray paint. Along with the same primer and clear. The stickers I made at work and cleared over them

    Thank you
