Prinsu rack

Any eta on the prinsu parts yet?

 

If you ordered it bare there could be a delay.

I ordered bare literally the day before the sale to CBI was announced, was told it would be ready maybe 5 weeks ago, and it wasn't (np, figured the crossover would add time). Called up and was told would ship out three weeks ago, never heard anything, and just called a week or so ago and was told that since I ordered bare, all the parts they ordered were powdercoated, I saw a lot of people who ordered after me getting their racks.

So if you order, order it powdercoated if you can and you should be good, haha.

I just want my rack.

 

i ordered on 14 August. My invoice said ship date is 28 September. Ugh.

 

Haha that's nothing. I had 11 weeks on a projected 4 week turn around.

 

Bought mine July 7th was quoted to be shipped by August 18th and it shipped August 24th. Still not bad. Called CBI on the 16th to check on it and they already had the rack ready to go... the delay was caused by the eye bolts i ordered extra with it. But they quoted me 1 extra week and they stuck to it. Mine was ordered bare no paint.

I just looked, I ordered mine on JUNE 21, looked at my bank statement. I can't find the original email but IIRC it said ship around early August.

I called and was told there was a delay. I called again a few weeks later and was told that they made a mistake and ordered only powdercoated parts (don't they make the parts???) and had no bare and it would be another three week delay.

You ordered over two weeks after me, ordered bare also and you received yours over a week ago? With a added delay?

Might also be important to note that i didnt order the cabrac or whatever its called. I got the rear rack for camper shells. I already have the front one. That could cause a difference as well

 

i had a estimated ship date of 8/8. has not shipped yet. prinsu for my 4runner, black powder, black bars. delay is for the black anodized bars.. that they should have ordered when i placed my order in late june.

 

My bars were black anodized. Just the side rails were bare.

 

thanks, emailed them to complain. First the hold up was the light bar mount $20 piece, that pushed my ship day back.. 2 weeks. Original estimated ship of 8/8 . Now its the Black Anodized cross bars that is pushing that back yet another 2 weeks.. I'm guessing they decided to fill other orders while waiting for my $20 light bar mount. My light bar mount should have gotten in the week your order was filled. Yet, they tell me a week+ later its delayed because they ran out of black cross bars... 10 weeks now and still not yet shipped for a CBI fulfilled order

 

What day did you order? June 18th here.

 

june 28, CBI took over all orders placed after JUNE 20. Before JUNE 20 will be fulfilled by ZACK.

My complaint was in how CBI is handling and processing their orders. They put my order on hold because a $20 part is not available.. for 2 weeks. Then 2 weeks later when that $20 part comes in, they tell me another item went out of stock, and is expected in another 2 weeks.

Fingers crossed they don't push my order back another 2 weeks because something else went out of stock while waiting for parts to get back in stock..

 

Hmmm, from what I see I got a confirmation email on the 18th but my payment went through June 21. But I've called CBI and they know the order.

Honestly at this point I'm not even mad anymore, it's comical. I'm just going to see how long it takes I guess.

I wasn't a fan of CBI before and after I ordered the Prinsu I saw CBI took over and I was bummed but I was hoping it might work out.

Let's hope it's at least quality when, and if it ever shows up.

Sounds like the logistica of the transition didnt go as expected and now CBI is playing catch up. I dont blame CBI for their delays, but i do blame them for not staying in constant communication with paid clients when set deadlines come and go. I guess i got lucky. Hope you all get your orders soon. Quality was still great and didn't seem to be any difference in design or quality. I did get double mounting hardware (nuts and bolts) and double my order of eye bolts. Too bad they didnt double the rack too haha.

 

Just got my tracking number. Will see if it's all correct when it arrives.

Ordered it on June 18th.
