Wife is from Rockland county, just north of the city. Eaten at Rockland bakery and there is a "chain" called David's bagel, we bring back some everytime where there, like 5 or 6 dozen on a light load.

I just got a response back from the person who answers the customer service emails from Frosty after telling him I was going to do a chargeback. He apparently forgot about my return label. If you guys are expecting something from him, I'm guessing you have to constantly nag him. Otherwise, good luck.

Nice! Haven't added stickers to the Frosty yet, but put a few on the Vibe. Also added the accessory cup Holders. Live action!

Update to my cooler seal. I added some of this foam window seal I had sitting around to the edge of the small 35q cooler. Was noticing that it wasn't airtight and things weren't staying as cool as I long as knew it should be. My small soft case coolers kept things cooler for much longer than this one.
After adding this seal I got from Lowe's awhile ago, the cooler actually makes the whoosh sound as air pressure is being equalized from the lid opening!
This was added to the bottom portion so the raised lip can protect it from getting knocked off. It's self adhesive, but the adhesive isn't super strong. This helps the original foam seal seal much better.

Wife said with locks even, with a smear in a Jewish voice. She said now you need to go to Zaybars for some roast beef on a bagel now. Guess it's like a deli.

Cooler wasn't really used this weekend like I thought. Open bar at party so no cooler action. All day Friday(88*) and 1/2 of Saturday (90*) it was sitting on the back porch with probably 5 hours of direct sunlight a day. Saturday night and all day sunday in the hatch of my car with black interior, no tint, baking in the sun. Probably ~135* in the car all day, high was 93* today, Sunday. One sizable chunk of ice left. Rest is individual pieces in a slurry. Did have a little water on the cargo mat in the car. Not sure if it was from condensation from around the drain plug or actual leakage from the drain plug. Maybe 1/2oz. of water.

If you stuffed it full of just ice and set it in the shade I have no doubt it would last 10 days

Good chance if you're taking precautions to help yourself. I didn't really try to extend the life of the ice other than not opening it much. It wasn't 100% full of ice, I didn't pre-chill it but it was room temp when filled with cold drinks, left it in the sun/hot car. Not ideal conditions. For weekend/long weekend trips and probably out to 5 days it would be fine for a food cooler. As a beer cooler that's opened often it, nor other brands, will not be close to their advertised ice retention.

    What size did you get?

The 65's definitely have a sealing issue. Just back from five days camping and it wouldn't keep ice for 24 hours. I pre-cooled and everything. The Vibe on the other hand was great. I will be contacting Frosty for a new seal.

Ice is gone. 29lbs. in 4 days. Water is cold enough to keep beer drinkable another day I'd say.

Hey guys! SO I was looking into getting some Shiti Coolers decals for mine. (No offense @TacoTRD78- I've just wanted these for forever since they take a jab at Yeti!:rofl:and they're funny as hell) The more I looked into in I found I could apply to be an ambassador for their company and potentially get discounts depending on the following. Would anyone else be interested in it? Wanted to get an idea before I pull the trigger.

@TacoTRD78, I know it's a BS thread now, but if ya don't like it I'll start a general post. Just wanted to gauge a smaller groups interest first.

    Here's the link: http://www.shiticoolers.com/

For those who don't want the link here's some of their decals:[IMG]

hahaha I cold agree with that lol. I'm only doing the ambassador thing if I have enough people that would make it worth trying to get a discount. I want the fish measuring one and the squirrel proof. Maybe a small Shiti one. But I don't necessarily want all of em lmao

Patch is a great idea! I would have to look into that and speak with the company regarding rights to the image. Not sure how well established it is. I will make a post to the group buy in a few days for stickers and go from there as far as working a deal and working patches. Not sure how big of a deal it is since it'd be small time but I don't necessarily want to have to deal with legal issues lmao

Edit: They are copyrighted and registered as of 2017. Not sure if that's a problem for a few patches or not. I'll reach out to the patch community and see if anyone has done similar and how they went about it.

I'm in for stickers. Been wanting some of theirs for a while now but didn't really want to pay their advertised website prices though. So if you can get a deal
