Didn't get materials for it on my last composites run, on hold for now. Recently found out Adventure Trailers is doing their own version of a FlipPac for 5 and 6 fit Tacoma beds, supposedly without the shortcomings of a FlipPac. Waiting for the unveil at this point to decide whether or not to press on with this project.

I want to bump this and see if anyone can confirm would my Toyota box that bolts to the bed rails fit in a 3rd Gen?

    The dealer can't and/or won't comment.

What can I say. I was looking at the same thing and trying to get a similar answer. :) This looked like a 3rd gen though. Is the 2nd gen bed the same?

I built a fairly accurate 2017 DCLB bed in Sketchup. It's based on my measurements and accurate to the 1/2" or so. May roll my own bed slider/drawer system and figured it's faster to measure twice and cut once. Shared for anyone who needs it. Cheers.

Slick CAD - no chance you have the short bed too?! Worth asking...

Well, I was about to say that I own a longbed and only have my truck to measure accurately...

...and then I look out of my window at work. We lease part of our building to an autobody shop and would you look at that, a 2017 DCSB OR sitting right outside of my door.

So I've attached a shortbed Sketchup file. Happy planning.

Wow, that was fast. Any questions measuring someone's truck out in the parking lot? Haha
Thanks a ton, this will be a huge help. I'll post my build hopefully in a few weeks.

It was just washed and the owner hadn't shown up yet to pick it up. I did have to wipe off my footprints off the bed... twice.
Glad to see you can use it!

Here's another stretch - I've looked and not been able to find anything.
Does anyone have the angle of the back glass compared to vertical? And the side angle of the glass on the doors? Trying to match angles on a rack design. I realize I can do the math and hash these out but not sure if anyone has measurements from a drawing or schematic.

This is a great picture along with measurements, does anyone have a link or see something similar for the 2nd gen short beds?

Are they the same dimensions as this 3rd gen bed??

Thanks for allowing a spy to post here :D
