Can anyone verify that the following wheels will fit my '17 tacoma 4x4 SR5?

    https://www.carid.com/atx-series-wheels/mojave-ii-ax19968060700-n-44103186.html

They have the correct lug pattern, but do they have the correct offset(0) & hub(108mm)?
I know thats quite a noob question but I would very much appreciate input! Thank you!

I plan to pair them with 4 TOYO OPEN COUNTRY M/T LT245/75R-16

That would make me feel all warm and fuzzy know that they probably will fit. :boink:

OP- only came in to learn more, as I get very confused with the different wheel options. :frusty:

lol what I mean to say is yes they will fit. you shouldn't have any fitment issues with 245s.

Nope they will not work. I tried the 16x8 Mohave 2 and they hit my brakes on the front. The guys at discount tire told me they would work and they didn't. The 17s were not in stock at their supplier so I went with the Baja in 17. I do have the tow package and that may change the brakes though. [IMG]

Thanks for the help! Looks like I won't be getting those wheels. I just discovered the SCS Ray 10's and I have fallen in love. Just have to wait until they aren't sold out anymore :goingcrazy:

Not to discourage you, but you may be waiting a while.

Next drop is supposed to be this month or next. Last time they sold out in minutes

It’s a shame backspace is just a derivative calculated from offset and rim width.

Follow their instagram and you have to buy them the minute they go up for sale. It’s wild, but well worth it.

Also nothing fits quite as good as a hub centric wheel. SCS is one of the only people doing it for our 106.1mm hub.

    SCS HIGHLY recommended.

Stay away from Fuel or any MHT wheels. Had an awful experience with them and their wheels are junk. 4 wheels out of 8 had hole patterns drilled off center. 2 more came out of the box with defects. 2 more the finish chipped off removing center caps.

I’m a mechanical engineer specializing in manufacturing. No reason to believe they have any semblance of a quality system implemented. They should not be trusted with a critical safety component of the vehicle.

I do, but I'm not looking to buy a set anymore, plans for other things atm. And I've never heard of MHT wheels actually

MHT makes probably 10 or more big name brand wheels. Fuel, Foose, Rotiform, Dub, etc.

I see you have the answer already but they will indeed not fit....the 17's will however...I have the AR baja and it was the same deal 16's no 17's yes.

All this wheel stuff makes absolutely no sense to me. I want to get new wheels but am so lost. Going to have to go to a shop and pay them for wheels and install just to make sure I don't have issues.

Offset, hub centric, spacing, etc??? I just want to put some black wheels on this rig. Mickey Thompson's or pro comps. The ones that look like ray 10s. Wouldn't mind ray 10s but haven't seen them all blacked out. And don't love the chrome beads. And the wait.

You’ll never get the right fitment if you don’t take the time to measure.

Read up about offset, backspacing, rim width, and all the other terms. It’s pretty simple to understand. Then use an online calculator like willtheyfit.com to visualize how it affects the look compared to what’s on the truck now.

I'll tell you right now the SCS wheel specs for Ray10 are pretty much exactly what you want. So find a comparable wheel or just so the right thing and wait for theirs to come available. They really do have a great high quality product. A lot of aftermarket wheels are junk nowadays.

About 90% of the 16 inch aftermarket wheels on the market won't fit because of the design of the wheel and clearance of the brake caliper.........go to a 17 inch ( and up)in the same wheel and most will fit ( the extra inch allows the rim to clear brake caliper )....now when I say this I mean fit on the hub...............offset , rim size , wheel spacers, rim width, tire size will have effect on rub, stance and in some cases truck performance.
