navigation screen

Was on road trip in 2016 Tacoma and navigation screen shut off along with sat radio,but not any of the dashboard displays came on after about 5 minutes with a screen display different than one I had been using and different map mode, sat radio came back on, set made display back to way I had it. half an hour later did same thing. now 24 hours later map will switch modes, screen is jerky not the smooth flow like before, have to reconnect phone but has not shut completely off again. anybody have this happen to them or something similar or any idea what is happening and what fix is/

 

There's a update for that. Search through the threads and you will find it. I was able to do it myself vs taking it in.

 

Yeah, it's a Head unit update for software..!!

Already tried file is corrupted which was confirmed by Toyota had to take to dealer who did update even they had corrupted file and used a old file to update I was told they are working with Entune Manufactur to fix online update

Indeed. I can't even complete copying to the USB drive as instructed. All well.
