for the boost gauge, did you just use the Red 12v wire and black ground? Or did you use the AEMnet and Analog (for datalinking) wires?

I will go with the Lotek and notch the backside if need be to allow the airbag to deploy properly. The handle is bolted to the pillar so it won't move. If the airbag deploys it will force the bottom/rear portion of the pillar cover to bend out of the way.20170815_202321.jpg 20170815_202335.jpg

I had high hopes of doing the LOTEK and as I was about to purchase it (I had the window open to purchase either the LOTEK or stearing column 2 gauge) I went ahead with the steering column one due to the airbag possible complication (I'm sure a dremel and a little time will take care of it no issue) and it keeps the gauges low profile, out of view from others (no specific reason for this other than people not knowing theres anything fancy under the hood). I figured worst case, I relocate the gauges later down the road if I am unsatisfied with the current set up.

    Keep us posted!

Cool, let me know how you like it. Getting tired of staring at my center console when I should be looking in front of the truck :D I'd like to move AFR and boost to the pillar.

I'm thinking of just modding my existing a-pillar to house a couple of gauges.

Test fitting the gauge. Here it looks like an oval plate but it will be cut in half and the attached to the pillar trim.

Seems like it should work. Some fiberglass, body filler and primer/paint.

I'll go ahead and get this out of the way...

    BUT, SIDE CURTAINS! :D

Should work fine. The side curtain air bad deploys behind the handle so your gauge placement shouldnt affect it.

I did get my gauge POD but am out of town for the weekend so no install. It is painted from Lotek and I thought the gray color was molded into the plastic. Here is a quick pic to check for color match. I wont have time to install it for a couple weeks to determine modifications for fitment.

Maybe I'll go that route if I'm not satisfied with mine.
