Good morning everyone. Incoming freshman moving into the dorms today and tomorrow. All other students Friday and Saturday @ the university where I work. I witness many emotions, excitement, confusion, tears from Mothers... twelve hour shifts the next three days. Come on 2024!

If you use feathers it will wear the edges, blazer vanes; unless you have somebody putting them on that doesn't do a good job, th octane rest was bad for ripping vanes off. Qad rests are good i have one on a bow now , not that I can shoot it, they're made about 2 hrs from me rt here in Va.

Good morning and welcome to hump day. At least for those of us that work M-F. And aren't on call this weekend or last.

This. I can shoot half a dozen arrows at 60 yards and keep the group 6" or less usually much less with a biscuit rest. Got into them when my youngest son started archery hunting. I resisted them at first and stuck with the simple plunger drop down rests but after seeing his switched. Work fantastic and better than the more complicated ones IMO. And really are just as accurate IME.

Nope. I fletch my own arrows though they are still XX75's. Not a fan of carbon arrows damn things (used) to shatter and split leaving carbon fibers in the meat. They will never take off and people will never use them :D After so many years of shooting the same setup I'm not going to change, I don't think I just shoot.

I had a 67 Mustang, burnt orange. Put in the Kraco speakers with the 8 track sound system. Used to call them Cracko speakers but was about all I could afford at the time stacking hay bales at $1 an hour.

Couple of weeks ago at our family reunion one of my sisters asked me what car I had when she was sitting in the passanger side and the floor pan dropped out of it from rust and she was looking at the pavement under her feet as we were driving down the road. It was the 67 mustang and that would have been in the early, mid 70's

I installed Craig Powerplay speakers with the good ole Pioneer Supertuner under the dash. Mine was midnight blue and appeared black @ night. Do you think our new generation could figure out how to work the windshield washer? Floorboards rusted on mine also, I redid the entire car, then in 85 I sold it buying a new black GT. Never forget the car hauler rolled into the dealership with six new GTs, less than 10 days they were all sold.

Morning all, lots of smoke here still, I was hoping the wind would change. Usually a great view of the Cascades, but now just brown. Going to drive 4 hours back to the villa this morning, clean and head to Napa in the am for camping.

Unless the wife suddenly wants to go somewhere, on the way home.

But what are the odds of that?

LOL no they could not, let alone figure out a manual choke. I put a Pioneer Supertuner in my FJ55 I bought in Wa. State not too many years later. To this day I think they are the best FM tuner you can get

I shot the same set for over 20 years, XI Legend Magum with XX75s. Two years ago I got a Mission Balistic with carbon arrows. Night and day difference. No problem with the carbon. Took advice from brother when bow shopping. Don't look at price tag. Pick it up and shot it. You wil know what right for you. It's not always the most expensive bow that fits your needs. Go to more than than one shop.

It's a conspiracy. Soon all fast-food joints will rebrand it to cover what it really is.

Or is it a trans-condiment....one condiment that identifies as another?
