Yeah I've taken a couple days here and there, but never for an actual vacation. I always had something to do. I'd love to just spend some time doing nothing. And sleeping. So much sleep.

Was still negotiating on shit as of yesterday morning. And I ended up just giving up over $400 because I just wanted to be done with it

 

Just think of it this way, if it's the house you want, $400 over the life of the mortgage isn't worth getting too carried away with. Hopefully it all works out well otherwise!

If I went with a GM v8 from a modern truck it would be the 6.0 since they sound great and are quite reliable from what I have seen

The GF's dad has one in his GMC 2500 and it's been a good motor for him, but it's a pig. When he's towing I think it usually gets around 5-7mpg's

 

I'm sure the tires could be why. My dad's 5.3 gets better MPGs with bigger tires than my taco does.
