SiriusXM is free, though with limited programming, now through September 5th.

I'm sure it is for a week then they will call everyday after that trying to get you to pay for a subscription.

 

they blow my phone and email up.

I get at least 10 emails a week.

 

This is their sales tactic to generate warm leads. IMO, not worth a free week or two of Howard Stern... or is it?

 

Satellite radio transmission is one way data beamed down to earth. Your head unit is not sending information back to Sirius/XM, so they do not know if you are listening to the free trial or not. Here is a simple explanation on Reddit.

OP, thanks for posting about the free trial. I will occasionally tune in but will not subscribe.

 

My brother thinks stern is worth a subscription to siriusxm. I cannot stand the dude myself.

 

Lol you don't call or sign up, its just on. Tune the radio back over to XM and enjoy...or don't.
