Hey guys. These guys have screwed me over twice.

Recently had my factory leaf springs replaced for free for a factory recall.

Had them change the oil while it was there. ( I usually do it myself ).

Week later I noticed my truck leaking oil everywhere and it never leaked oil before. Checked the drain plug, and I could loosen it with my finger. This could have destroyed my truck if I did not notice when I did. I guess their certified Toyota mechanics missed the class on how to tighten a bolt.

Now I have to check the job they did on the leaf springs.
The shop also owes me money for the last time they screwed up with my truck which is a whole other story I don't even feel like typing out right now.

The staff is nice, service is HORRIBLE. I find myself really concerned for their customers as well, they see a high volume of people who get their vehicles serviced there.
I've had previous talks with management about their garage service in the past, anyway.

Just an FYI since I know y'all love your tacos.

Avoid these people at all costs.

Bummer about your experience. I don't think a loose bolt is worth a bashing thread.

I've dealt with them many times, including service. I trust them.

Perhaps you should contact them, and get your problems resolved by them first, then update us with their resolution.

We all make mistakes, what's important is what is done to correct them.

@Gun guy I'd be very interested to know what the first issue was.

I had similar problems with the dealer I purchased mine from. From mistakes to lying about work done. Was finally able to find a dealer service center I trusted without any of the BS. Most service centers I took my truck to, wouldn't recommend them either.

That sucks, haven't dealt with Mark Miller Toyota. I've taken all my trucks to Toyota Bountiful. Staff is pretty awesome. Also are you the guy that the tech didn't put the lug nuts back on the wheel?

I have never used Mark Miller but I had the same thing happen at Bountiful Toyota. I noticed oil in my garage and checked the drain plug which was loose. That is why I don't trust anybody but myself to change my oil.

I know you guys are talking about mechanics but some dealers were mentioned as well. I’m looking at possibly trading in my Tacoma. Anyone I should avoid?

I've heard really bad things about Mark Miller (at least the service dept.)

LHM Toyota has been awesome for myself and several others that had really complex issues.

Avoid the Brent Brown service dept too, but their sales team is easy to work with.
