couldn't get my gun on the one closest to the front diff tho. the fitting on my gun is too big and wont squeeze in there, wont even touch the zerk let alone latch on lol

 

What kinda grease are you using? Anything special? I need to do mine soon. I think I have some cheap marine grease in my gun now from the boat.

finally finished up my retrofit. Straight on, they look nearly blacked out. From the side, they appear very similar to the stock SR headlights.





Here's an in-progress pic to show a better shot of color. Duplicolor MetalCast Smoke over the stock chrome get's pretty close to the SR's Smoked Chrome.

Awesome! Did you turn the front drive shaft? What kind of grease gun do you have? Your front driveshaft can spin without lifting your truck as long as 4 wheel drive is not engaged. Also, having a hose on your gun makes it a lot easier to fit then the solid shaft type

Glad you got a direction but I will say anything is better than nothing. If your replacing it I can say have used Redline and Mobile 1 and I have had good results with both

 

yeah I figured that out haha I have a good gun, hose on it and what not, I can physically access the zerk, but the head is too fat to fit past the yolks? it legit hits the U part of the joint, too damn fat to get in there, I did all the others no problem but that last one was a no go lol if I has a skinnier head on the tip of the hose it wouldn't be a problem, if I had a grinding wheel I woud just grind down the edges just enough but I don't so I cant haha I'm not too concerned about it, they were all pretty well greased, one pump and grease oozed out 5 and clean stuff started coming out.

 

Sweet. Those seem crazy bright. Do ppl flash you or don't you drive with them on at night normally?

 

I agree with @mach1man001, anything is better than nothing. Most owners are doing nothing.

 

Those turned out great. Makes me want to redo mine with that paint versus the dark gray color I used.

 

Installed the afe cold air intake. Didn't realize what a pain it would be with the supercharger. Got the job done but still wonder if I should have cut some of the intake tube. The sound is amazing though!

 

Picked up some used Kings from @SMKYTXN and ordered rears from DSM. Shipping the fronts out to DSM to get rebuilt tomorrow. Pelfreybilt bumpers should be shipping any day now. CAN. NOT. WAIT!

 

Installed the ICI magnum steps, was a bit of a pain with just me so I'll recheck them tomorrow since they didn't seem as flush as I thought they would be, but still look great... now if only I could figure out why the step lights aren't working....

 

Got the raptor lights on!



I know my fog lights are, well fogged haha. I'm replacing them with morimotos soon! Not my cleanest wiring but not too bad. Also no the tape isn't permanent. Just holding them in place while the epoxy dries. I was able to slightly dremel out these slots and place the lights in so as not to do any permanent, noticeable damage to my pro grille.
