Saw this on reddit, so cant vouch for legitimacy. Get ready for CEMENTS EVERYWHERE (Buzz+Woody Meme inbound)

I approve of being able to get leather in the Sport and Offroad. Now I just need someone to total theirs so I can take the seats :fingerscrossed:

C-Cab is referred to more commonly as 'Access Cab'. D Cab is Double Cab

So the access cab gets the shaft again? Why in the hell would the access cab not be able to get leather seats? Or Navigation w/ JBL?

Looking at that list of discontinued items and what has been added, can AC's even get Nav anymore? lol

This has already been discussed in another thread. Where do you think reddit got that screenshot in the first place

Looks like those that jumped for Cement, at a Pro premium, will now just be lost in the masses.

Put on a pro grill and aftermarket wheels and 95% of the general public will never know the difference.

Yep, I found that after I posted. Searching for reasonable terms didn't turn that up for me until I added 'leak' after the fact. I'm leaving this here for ease of access though, because you have to sift through 60 pages of speculation in the other thread before you get to any information. If someone wants to consolidate it more power to them.

I'd wager that 95% of the general public doesn't know or care about the differences anyway lol

Yea sucks to have gotten the pro in cement thinking you'd be somewhat exclusive. I'd be a little mad but thems the breaks.

If they sold a pro in black, I may bite. I'm actually trying to NOT stand out on the road.

    • I'm not sure how I feel about the Cavalry Blue; will be interesting to see it on a Taco.
    • I hate all of the Toyota Safety Sense nanny crap. Wonder how much of a premium it will be.

It wasn't really a stretch to think the 'pro exclusive' color would get filtered down to the other TRD trims. Same thing happened with Inferno.

It's been my experience that the "general public" doesn't know one from the other anyway. If you ask most Tacoma owners what they are driving, they'll tell you "some little Toyota truck".

I had a "little Toyota truck"owner question me in a parking lot about the recall. When I asked him which model he had I got a blank stare with "a Tacoma".

This is old news but worth a discuss any way. I'll be honest...had cement and black leather been an option I would have opted for it. I'll be okay with my cloth and MGM though. I've come to quite like the cloth actually. What we still don't know at this point are the new prices. Probably won't be huge increases but definitely going to increase, and more than normal.

Beyond me just not liking the color, it just looks super dated to me. Like, it looks like something that would come on a Chevy Nova. lol
