    Does the expansion tank get installed on the cold or hot side? Your install looks nice and neat, good job. Nation Electric Code requires three feet of working space from the front of a panel, appears you have that.

    Another question. Is the stand aluminum and where can you purchase it? Does the stand have a pan in the bottom?

    I spent two weeks at DM just out side of Tucson for Air Craft Battle damage school in June yeah KMIA 105 deg dry heat in a MOP 4 suit you are not dry !! Well if you are from the north you're not.

    Separate items. Pan is aluminum,stand is oatey galvanized. There are some welded ones but pan has to be exact. I get my stuff at Morrison plumbing supply.

    There are pan/platforms also. Hanging type with threadlet installed.

    I have an AO Smith in my basement with some age to it. Thinking of replacing before she pukes. I really like the looks of the stand but may be a bit tall for my needs.
