Hello fellow TW pet owners! I'm in need of ideas for a catitat/catio to give our rescues more room. One of our older cats (and I suspect a few others) has been pissing on various objects as a sort of passive-aggressive way to tell us he's displeased. We have 6 cats that share a sunroom attached to our living room. We're hoping to alleviate some of the issues by building or buying a large kennel for cats, or catitat! We would build a nicer screen porch instead but we're only living here temporarily and want the option to take it with us.

So far we've found some used chain link kennels on Craigslist and the nicer black powdercoated versions at stores like tractor supply. I'd like to keep it cheap but looks are somewhat a factor since I don't want the house looking like ass after adding this enclosure. We love using recycled materials and built our rabbit and chicken coops using old lumber but this project seems to require more metal material. We will probably still lock up the cats inside at night because we do have foxes and raccoons that visit the yard frequently. So, any ideas or pictures to share?

    Thanks all

Not sure where you get them but this kind of material looks like it could be used and then broken down and taken anywhere

That's pretty neat looking. Definitely lighter weight material so moving it would be easier
