I HATE commuting... if I could find a job that made what I make, but w/ teleworking, I'd never ask for another raise ever again.

That is what I am aiming for in Colorado. The job is one office day per week, and of course telework 4 days a week, when not on the road.

If I get the job, probably live in Lakewood. Ideally I would be near Bear Mountain, Black Mountain, or Mount Bailey.

I do, but for some reason it has let me upload them. It'll let me upload it via tacomaworld or Facebook. But Facebook message and text works

It's not to bad. It is more the location of the dent. It's right next to the headlight, on a crease. Which cracked the corner of the headlight, which pushed the front bumper out a bit, moved the hood, and loosened up body panels. The whole front clip is loose and in danger of falling off. Nothing too crazy, which is weird considering I hit him going 40

Lakewood is nice! (would you be working in Denver?)

If I ever go back, I'd live in Castle Rock / Park Meadows area

I want to live in Castle Rock. Ive got 11 years to pay off my house, so I can buy one for cash out there, and then do whatever I want!

Not in Denver proper. There is a massive federal campus in Lakewood, which for some reason is part of Denver. Denver Federal Center.

Most weeks I work 5, 8 hour shifts. But then you have weeks like this one, where I worked Friday, Saturday 8 hours, Sunday 12 hours, mond-wednesday 8 hours.

Then I'll run 2 days off.

My perfect schedule would be 2 16s and an 8.

hell yea man... Castle Rock is the perfect mix of city / country life to me... plus Mt. Hermon / Rampart Range road is a 20 minute drive and that has some fun trails on it (that's the mountain I had to get rescued from by Search and Rescue after that guy in the Jeep screwed me over)

oh yea man, then if youre in Lakewood away from downtown and all that.... why not just live in Evergreen? it's like a 45 minute commute, but you live IN the mountains over by Red Rocks and all that.

If I can find a place out there I'll take a look. Needs to be at least 3 bedrooms and I need to make sure bears don't break in for any snacks, aka the girlfriend's pet rabbits.

I need a minimum of 3 car garage and concrete driveway. I dont really need a yard or anything else.. but maybe some land.

Next year, Ill scope out some stuff, when i drive out

Would love to move out that way. CO, MT, WY, wherever there is land, and peace. Right now I am here for the kids. Once they grow up and graduate high school, I'll start seriously looking. If I dont fall over dead of a heart attack or something before then haha.

you should be able to get something like that for 4-500k out there

or you can spend 200-300k and build your 3 car garage separately. Our house had a 2 car garage, but no basement :( so the garage was the "catch all" for a lot of storage and shit.

that's why I like this house in WV... I have a big ass storage shed, a basement, AND a 2 car garage... this way, the garage will only be used for "car stuff" I eventually want to put a 2 post lift in the garage. (a couple years from now)

pretty much everywhere in Colorado (the decent neighborhoods / cities) have HOAs since Colorado is expanding SO quickly.

luckily, we found a house in CO that had a low HOA (like $45 a month) and wasnt too strict on the little things.... they only made sure your house didnt look like trash.
