What was your first firearm?

Gen 3 Glock 19...9mm

 

A 1942 Mosin Nagant rifle I got it for about 130$ before it got harder to find real Russian guns

 

Sig 229 9MM used.

Still by far my favorite and what I shoot best.

 

M&P 9MM 1st gen

Nothing special, but I wish I never sold it.

 

First rifle was a Montgomery Wards 22 that I learned on. I was probably about 11 when I got it. When I was a little older and bigger I would shoot my dad's Sears 12 gauge, bolt action, manual choke kick ass shotgun. Good times, takes me back to the days of my misspent youth.

 

Ruger M77 MkII 7mm Remington Mag.

Purchased in 1994... still hunting with it today.

 

First guns my dad gave me when I was 10 were a Winchester Model 12 20 GA. ( it was his Dove gun that he bought way back in the 50s ) that had a leather case the gun fit in when broken down and a Winchester Model 75 Sport .22

Glock 19.

I've added a few others since. Favorite handgun I own is a Sig P226 Elite. Favorite rifle is my "put together from parts" AR15 (Spikes lower, Daniel Defense upper, Geissle Super Dynamic trigger, EOTech Red Dot)

 

Harrington&Richardson 410 single shot. Around 1982. Still have it, my son and daughter will be introduced to it soon.

 

Ithaca model 49 lever action single shot .22 many years ago.

 

Ruger P95.
Total piece of crap. Got hung up putting it back together after the first cleaning. Took the gun shop 2 hours to get it apart and back together. Traded it for money and a Glock 23.
I've had many Glocks since then and have settled on 2 gen4 23's and I have a 43. Love Glocks. Ugly guns but work all the time every time.

Impulse buy, Berretta cx4 storm 40cal.

 

Springfield GI 1911, followed by a Springfield SAR-48. Almost as bad as buying trucks, there is no cure....

 

Winchester model 88 in .308. I still hunt with that gun every year.. and every year, it still delivers

 

Marlin 60 22lr got when I turned 13 still have it today always have the most fun with this plinker. Has never let me down

 

Pretty much the same for me. I've had the gun for 25 years or so and I just cleaned it for maybe the second time last year. It doesn't get used much anymore, but it is an unstoppable brick munching machine.

 

My first gun was a Glock 17 at the age of 33.... Never saw a need for guns until my eyes were opened...

 

Weatherby 7mm mag was my first gun purchased for black bear & deer hunting.
